We need to understand what is yoga and why we want to practice it. Yoga is not just limited to physical health benefits but its a lot more than that. And if you do your yoga practices with a deep understanding of yog sutra’s we would gain immense Psychologically and Spiritually benefits as well.

By following the yog sutra’s “the rule book” or “a guide”. You will benefit physically, mentally, psychologically, emotionally, and spiritually. With yoga, you will develop various disciplines of life.

The very first chapter V:1 Atha yog-anushasanam

Meaning: Now, Yoga discipline has begun or Now an exposition of yoga is being made. This must be the spirit of understanding and practicing Patanjali yoga.

The power of being is in NOW in the present moment, it’s NOW or never.

With this deeper understanding of the POWER OF NOW, lets began and do our practices with full attention by being fully in this moment of NOW.  Fully conscious, fully aware of your surroundings, and your breath. By simply doing this you will gain steadiness in your mind and eventually in your life.
